Great to be interviewed by Australian Live Industry Alliance for my insights into the 8th APIA Good Times Tours. Read all about it here... ALIA Good Times Tour w/ Smash

Gigs, oh how we miss gigs!

We await the return of touring live sound - in what form that takes is an unknown after 8 months of Covid lockdowns and shutdowns across both the broader community & the arts sector,  .

Till then, Smash'n'Sound has been developing assets for delivery of high-quality studio recording and mix projects.

Partnering up with Simon Moro @ Ninety Nine 100 productions, we are offering a production team with a wealth of experience and credits. Simon's extensive production skills and bespoke mix facility added with Smash'n'Sound's 30+years engineering experience offers a one-stop end-to-end package for tracking and mixing.

Smash has further invested in a range of new and vintage equipment to round-off the service to clients for achieving professional sound with a lasting quality. Check out the gear listing  page here for details on whats on offer.

Rock'n The House

Kick'n off 2020 with FOH mix duties for Australian music royalty @ Sydney Opera House with Rock'n the House featuring:
Kate Ceberano, Brian Cadd, Russell Morris, Ross Wilson, Glenn Shorrock and JPY.
All killer - No filler:
A setlist full of iconic hits -  the soundtrack to a generation - an absolute honour and pleasure to mix once again. And one of the final shows in the concert hall before it closes for a 2 year refurbishment.

MEG MAC @ TRIPLE J - One Night Stand 2019

Smash'n'Sound enjoyed some special fader time with Meg Mac in Lucindale, South Australia as part of Triple J One Night Stand.
A very special duet with Melbourne performer Didirri was one of many highlights - a truly unique combination of fabulous voices.

Honoured to be once again back on the FOH faders for the 7th Good Times Tour.
This year is the All-Stars line-up - true legends Ross Wilson, Brian Cadd, Russell Morris, Kate Ceberano, Vika & Linda Bull, Joe Camilleri, John Paul Young (JPY)
- backed by an incredible band featuring John Watson (drums), Travis Clarke (bass), Paul Cecchinelli (MD, Keys, Perc), James Ryan (gtr), Pete Robinson (gtr) & Warren 'pig' Morgan (Keys- JPY).
Lights by Rohan Thorton and production management & monitors (all 23 wedges) by Josh Barker.

Smash'n'Sound has gone back to the 80's in 2019 and loving it!
Providing FOH audio for a limited run of shows around Australia. Kicking off the reunion with supports for Mr Bryan Ferry (A Day On The Green - see pic below) plus further headline shows in July.

Featuring the double shot vocal power of Kate Ceberano and Zan Abeyratne with original members Barbara Hogarth (Bass), Robert Goodge (Gtr), Stephen Charlesworth (keys) - these shows have confirmed why this band lead the original wave of dance-floor friendly synth music.
