EUPHONY [Ahenk]

Located in the stunning Elizabeth Murdoch Hall of the Melbourne Recital Centre
- Euphony [Ahenk] was a celebration of Turkish culture and migration to Australia.
• featuring a 35 piece Orchestra and visiting prolific Turkish and Dutch musicians - Smash'n'Sound was asked to deliver the FOH mix and multitrack capture of this challenging unique musical celebration.

CARAVAN CLUB

Smash'n'Sound has been loving the new Caravan Club in Melbourne's south east - featuring a Midas H3000 with full analog rack, this venue is a pleasure for artists to perform in and for engineers to mix in. A few photo's from Sept 2018.

Xylouris White - featuring Jim White (Dirty Three) on vintage Ludwig drums and Georgis Xylouris on Lute - this was no ordinary show

Brett Doig has installed an exceptional fully analog production to compliment the room

Jan Preston (+Nick Charles on guitar) - delivered some serious authentic boogie

FRONTIER DAYS

FRONTIER DAYS w/ Jon Stevens
Smash'n'Sound had the pleasure to travel to the Gulf Of Carpentaria in QLD to do FOH for Jon Stevens @ Frontier Days in August. Jon was invited to close the festival.
The unique festival combines Australia’s only indigenous rodeo (what was the Doomadgee Rodeo) with a stellar music line-up and First Nation Canadian and American dancing in the middle of a huge tent city in the heart of the Gulf 300km north-west of Mount Isa.

Additional sightseeing opportunities included canoeing  up Lawn Hill Gorge in the stunning Boodjamulla National Park with accomodation @ Adels Grove camping park (glampin!)
