FOH (Ross Wilson) @ Gympie Muster 2011

Starting out in Brisbane with a passion for sound and a willingness to learn and listen, Smasha completed work with many artists including The Chosen Few, Ziggerants, Who's Gerald? (featuring Dave McCormack pre Custard)  Strontium Dog & Small World Experience. Mixed gigs for many of these artists including supports to many Oz and International Artists (Dinosaur Jnr, Falling Joys, )

A 3 year stint in Sydney in the early 90’s allowed Smasha to take advantage of the numerous venues and recording opportunities and complete many gigs and studio projects with some progressive indie artists including The Viscous Kits, The Slaters and many recordings with some prominent performers from the lively Sydney Jazz scene including Simon Barker Quartet, Cameron & Fiona Undy, Mike Knock and the late – blind jazz pianist Jann Rutherford.

Followed by a term in the midst of the European industry, based in London, Smasha was able to endure 3 winters and complete further work with many UK artists and gain a deeper understanding of the music industry . This time also saw him step up his role with the School of Audio Engineering accepting the position of MD of the UK operations. This period within the training school administration  coincided with building & course expansion of the London facility and the introduction of the first Pro School, offering accredited Digidesign Pro Tools training.
Studio clients included JEEP (UK), Billy Rain (UK), Raman Kia (UK), Absolutely (UK), All Clever Animals (UK), Livid (UK), Red Out Loud (UK), Crush (UK).
