2019 Live Highlights in photo's - part1

MEG MAC @ TRIPLE J - One Night Stand 2019

Smash'n'Sound enjoyed some special fader time with Meg Mac in Lucindale, South Australia as part of Triple J One Night Stand.
A very special duet with Melbourne performer Didirri was one of many highlights - a truly unique combination of fabulous voices.

APIA GOOD TIMES TOUR 2019

Honoured to be once again back on the FOH faders for the 7th Good Times Tour.
This year is the All-Stars line-up - true legends Ross Wilson, Brian Cadd, Russell Morris, Kate Ceberano, Vika & Linda Bull, Joe Camilleri, John Paul Young (JPY)
- backed by an incredible band featuring John Watson (drums), Travis Clarke (bass), Paul Cecchinelli (MD, Keys, Perc), James Ryan (gtr), Pete Robinson (gtr) & Warren 'pig' Morgan (Keys- JPY).
Lights by Rohan Thorton and production management & monitors (all 23 wedges) by Josh Barker.

I'M TALKING

Smash'n'Sound has gone back to the 80's in 2019 and loving it!
Providing FOH audio for a limited run of shows around Australia. Kicking off the reunion with supports for Mr Bryan Ferry (A Day On The Green - see pic below) plus further headline shows in July.

Featuring the double shot vocal power of Kate Ceberano and Zan Abeyratne with original members Barbara Hogarth (Bass), Robert Goodge (Gtr), Stephen Charlesworth (keys) - these shows have confirmed why this band lead the original wave of dance-floor friendly synth music.

PONY FACE Live @ Caravan Club

The legendary Melbourne band Pony Face has released a bootleg of their sublime Nebraska show @ Caravan Club from 16th November 2018 - This captures the essence of the classic Bruce Springsteen album.
Audio from the night courtesy of Smash'n'Sound desk mix, recorded unbeknownst to the band and now a truly special memory of the night.
This stereo desk mix is Testament to the fabulous band and the great setup of this venue featuring the all analog production installed by Brett Doig.
